OGI: How Our Recruiting System Works

In early May, employers are e-mailed an announcement inviting them to schedule interviewing space in our office for the following academic year. Scheduling is administered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

CAVLink Step-by-Step Process:

  1. Make a reservation. The employer fills out an online request form. Within 5 business days you will receive an e-mail confirmation for your reservation. Once you receive this you can continue to the next step.
  2. Post the job description. You will need to post your job description on CAVLink.
  3. Students submit their resumes. Please refer to the deadline chart for specific timelines. This is listed under your individual reservation on CAVLink.
  4. Review resumes and choose preselects. After student submission has ended, employers will review the resumes and select which students they would like to interview.
  5. Preselects sign up through CAVLink for an interview time.

The entire process takes about one month from start to finish. Please refer to the Employer Manual (pdf) for step-by-step instructions on how to use the CAVLink system.

If you are interested in setting up an information session at an on-Grounds or off-Grounds facility, you must contact the venue directly. Once you have confirmed your information session with the venue, please e-mail the details to us so that we may post your event on the UCS Calendar.
