Employer Information Sessions
Hosting an information session is an effective way to generate interest
in your organization. Please follow this easy, five-step process when
scheduling your employer information session. UCS cannot arrange information
sessions although we would be pleased to consult with you. Please inform
us of your information session time, date, and venue so that we may add
it to the UCS Online Calendar.

Step 1: Select A Date
Please schedule your presentation between Aug. 25 – Dec. 8 (Fall) or/and Jan. 20 – Apr. 28 (Spring)
Step 2: Reserve Your Venue

for employers in the past. Please note that while these restaurants
will host functions, most do not have presentation equipment.

Step 4: Reserve Catering
- You may find other caterers from the Charlottesville
Chamber of Commerce. Click “Business Directory”and
type in “caterers”under Category/Keyword.
- Newcomb Hall requires
that you use U.Va. in-house catering when using their facility.
- VMeals - Order online through
www.vmeals.com and select from a
wide variety of best-in-class local restaurants and caterers.

Step 5: Notify UCS
Please e-mail your information session time, date, and venue to cavlink@virginia.edu and
we will add it to the UCS Online Calendar.

Step 6: Publicize Your Program
The Student Groups list
is by no means comprehensive and has been compiled based on information
imparted to UCS by past employers. If you would like your organization’s
information session to be added to the UCS
Online Calendar, please contact the Employer Services Manager at (434) 924-8901.
