UCS Program RequestFor University Department Representatives and Student Organization Group Presentations What?As resources allow, University Career Services staff are able to present workshops for student audiences (15+ students) in addition to the events already sponsored by the office. Possible topics include:
* Denotes programs often filled by Career Peer Educators. When and Where?UCS staff will work with you to schedule a program at a mutually convenient time. Often, late afternoon/early evening times or lunch hour times work well. We prefer to have groups come to UCS for programs in order to have the opportunity to show students UCS library resources; however, other locations can be accommodated when appropriate. Although they can be shortened, these programs typically last 45 minutes and when combined with an overview of UCS programs and services may last up to 1 hour. How?Complete the Program Request Form at least 2 weeks before the desired program date. Only one program topic area may be requested at a time. Within 3 business days, a UCS staff member will contact you to follow up on your request. Although we appreciate requests being made with as much advance notice as possible, due to the heavy volume of UCS events taking place at the beginning of the academic year, UCS staff will only be able to fulfill requests for programs occurring after October 1. You may request a specific UCS staff member in the comments section. Note: Requests submitted with less than 2 weeks notice and requests for students group of fewer than 15 are not likely to be filled. Program Request Form |
