Government & Non-Profit Career Expo

One of the largest career fairs of its kind on the East Coast, over 80 government and non-profit employers will be on hand, looking to fill both full-time and internship positions.

Pre-Register Now (Alumni must choose the “Non-U.Va.” option)

This career fair is open to students and alumni from U.Va., Georgetown University, University of Richmond, New York University, NYU's Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, Swarthmore, and the College of William & Mary. Last year, over 1,500 students attended.

How do I get there?

Travel by bus

A Charter Bus to the Government/Non-Profit Career Expo is available for a $10 registration fee. Payment is due at the time of registration. No refunds will be issued if you decide to cancel after you register. Sponsored by the Class of 2012 Trustees and University Career Services.

Remember, over 1,500 students attend this event. If you decide to drive yourself, parking will be very limited and expensive.

Directions to Georgetown University Main Campus

On-Campus Parking
Southwest Quad Parking Garage ($15 dollars)—Cash payment required at the time of parking. Entrance can be reached from Canal Road (see directions above). After exiting the garage building, turn right and go to the Shuttle Pick Up point. This bus will drop you off at the Leavey Center.
Public Transportation
The Metro stations closest to Georgetown University are the Dupont Circle station and Rosslyn. From either Metro station, the campus can be reached on foot, or by taxicab (approx. $5), Metrobus ($1.35), or using the free Georgetown shuttle buses (GUTS).

Inclement Weather

Please call (202) 687-SNOW for updates on weather conditions at Georgetown University. If the university is closed due to inclement weather, the Government & Non-Profit Expo will be cancelled. If the university is operating on a delayed schedule, the Expo will still take place during its regularly scheduled time (see above).
