Favorite UCS program/resource: CavLink
Most meaningful/career-defining moment: I would call this a meaningful experience, not necessarily a career defining experience. This summer I done an internship at UVa this summer as a residential counselors for high school students. It was called the AP Challenge Program. It was administered through the Curry School of Education. My job as a residential counselor, was basically being an “RA” type person for the high school students while their stay at UVa. This experience will forever stay in my mind because I was able to relate to the students and make long-lasting friendships with these girls. I was a mentor, a big sister, a role model, and a friend to these girls. Even though the program is over, I still keep in contact with them.
